What I do and why I do it

I’ve been where you are. And I’ve watched so many others - especially women - struggle with the same doubts, the same frustrations and road blocks. You’ve got a talent and a passion that you want to share with the world. To make an impact with. But now what? How do you get other people to discover you? How do you reach the people interested in what you have to share? How do you do that scary thing… marketing?

Maybe you’ve set up an Instagram account in a moment of resolve, and now you’re wondering what the hell to post. You’re scouring the web and drowning in all the jargon, all the information and advice out there. All the promises that if you spend on this one silver bullet, you’ll sart seeing a 6 digit, even 7 digit revenue next month.

Do you really have to post 65 times a day to reach your followers?! And what; you suddenly have to be an expert in whatever ‘SEO’ and ‘CPC’ mean? Are you really ready to start investing in online ads? Not to mention that you suddenly have to become a photographer, videographer, graphic designer, copywriter,… Or should you just outsource it all?

And suddenly what started as a passion that you wanted to share has become one expensive mess that you don’t know how to move forward from.

My name is Stefanie, and I’m passionate about creative communication.

Almost as much as food. And dance. And travel. And above all making connections with people.

Over the past 6 years, I have helped a range of organizations, start-ups and projects set up and grow their marketing and communications strategies.

Until one day a friend asked me to help her figure out the marketing side of her new business. As I guided her through the approach I had developed over the years, more and more friends reached out about passions and ideas they wanted to market. The more I talked to them, the more I realized that the world of digital marketing can seem pretty daunting. Endless amounts of information floating around make it difficult to make sense of it all.

That’s why I started Passionista - so I can share my passion for creative communication with women who want to make their own impact on the world.
